solanum lycopersicum
Another tomato from the heritage seed library, it produces little orange tomatoes with light stripes that fade away when ripe. The seed was originally saved from a striped tomato fruit in the 1960s by Dr Lewis Darby of the glasshouse crops research institute. We found it to be acidic tasting with thick skin but generally pleasant. We would love others to grow it out, save seed and let us know what they think.
